Wild Blueberry Muffins, Plus a Product Review!

Every now and then I get sent free samples to try and give a review. Yesterday, in the mail I received some Gifbera Baking Cups and thought to myself what should I make...so Blueberry muffins it is!

Wild Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh wild blueberries (or domestic)

Container: Muffin tin with

Wash and drain blueberries, prior to adding them to the mixture. 
 
  • Preheat oven to 400ยบ F.
  • In a mixing bowl, stir together dry ingredients.
  • Combine beaten egg, oil, and milk, and then add to dry ingredients until just moistened.
  • Put foil liners in muffin tin and divide batter evenly, filling each liner approximately 1/2 full (reserve approximately 1/2 cup of batter). Spoon blueberries on top and gently stir in each muffin. Distribute remaining 1/2 cup of batter among the muffins, drizzling over top.
  • Bake approximately 20-25 minutes.

Product Review:

Overall, I'm very happy with the Gifbera Baking Cups. Unlike most baking cups these pulled away really nice and didn't take half the muffin with it. 

The pretty colors add some fun to baking and I'd definitely use them again. As well as, recommend them to my friends and family. The price was very affordable and I'll have plenty to use in the future for upcoming baking projects. I'm very happy with my new Gifbera baking cups.
